Internships

Internships & Full-Time Jobs

Finding real estate internships and job opportunities can be a daunting task, as, unlike many other industries, many real estate opportunities are never posted. Word of mouth is a major source of information about real estate jobs, which is why networking is so important to students interested in real estate. Undergraduates are strongly encouraged to join the Commercial Real Estate Network (CREN), while graduate students are urged to join the Real Estate Investment and Development Organization (REIDO), as our student clubs offer numerous opportunities to engage with alumni and others.

Below is a listing of sources and websites where you may search for real estate internships and full-time jobs.

"GW’s real estate program did an excellent job of providing a holistic education that combined academic study with hands-on practical learning and internships. I felt confident entering my first job out of college (which I found through a GW connection) and was able to contribute to the organization from day one. The offering of an undergraduate program is rare, and students will gain an education that is largely offered only in graduate school. "
