Our students get great jobs after graduating from GW! CRES helps counsel students and opens the door for them through a host of networking opportunities throughout the year. We also distribute an electronic resume book each fall to more than 900 GW alumni in real estate and 100+ employers to get our students noticed — and hired! The ability to access our large, growing and active real estate alumni network gives GW students a tremendous edge during their job searches. Our alumni are thrilled to speak with our talented real estate students and have helped many with their job searches.

Student Programs
These organizations provide specialized programs and resources designed specifically for students, giving you the hands-on experience needed to launch your real estate career.
Project Destined provides students with training, networking, mentorship, job and internships in real estate, entrepreneurship and finance.
SEO Careers prepares Black, Latino, and Native American undergraduate students for summer internships across Wall Street and real estate.
BL Next seeks to educate and empower student-athletes to lead successful careers in commercial real estate after their college sports journeys end.
Job Search Resources
Finding real estate internships and job opportunities can be a daunting task, as, unlike many other industries, many real estate opportunities are never posted. Word of mouth is a major source of information about real estate jobs, which is why networking is so important to students interested in real estate. Undergraduates are strongly encouraged to join the Commercial Real Estate Network (CREN) as our student club offers numerous opportunities to engage with alumni and others.

GW’s real estate program did an excellent job of providing a holistic education that combined academic study with hands-on practical learning and internships. I felt confident entering my first job out of college (which I found through a GW connection) and was able to contribute to the organization from day one. The offering of an undergraduate program is rare, and students will gain an education that is largely offered only in graduate school.
